Adult and Geriatric Speech-Language Therapy

Our Therapists are Personal, Professional and Certified

Communication is a two-way process in which people exchange information.  We send information by speaking, writing, gesturing and touching.  We receive information by listening, reading, watching and feeling.  Our daily activities and interpersonal relationships depend greatly on our ability to communicate effectively and remember those communications.  This is most realized when our ability to communicate is interrupted.

Our Speech-Language Pathologists treat a variety of disorders acquired by adults because of an illness or trauma.  We also provide specific programs to address accent Modification and or Reduction.

Treatment Diagnosis
Swallowing difficulties
Cognitive-Linguistic disorders (short/long term)
Voice Problems
Language Deficits (word finding difficulties)
Dysarthria & Apraxia (speech-articulation disorders)

Accent Modification/Reduction
Accent Reduction/Modification is a program that is implemented when an individual wants to eliminate or reduce their accent; most people pursue accent reduction if they want to have more clarity in their speech.  Our therapists will work with you on an individual level to appropriately assess and implement the most effective program to achieve your goal.
