Speech -Language therapy focuses on a child’s overall communication skills. Some of these skills include: Receptive language (how well your child understands language) and Expressive language (how your child uses language), Articulation/Phonological (actual use of sounds in words), Pragmatics (social language), Oral Motor Function, Speech Intelligibility, Literacy Skills, and Feeding/Swallowing difficulties.
